NOVELTY - Preparation of circular graphene, involves (i) cleaning metal copper surface, placing into a tube furnace, heating in inert gas atmosphere, calcining, then introducing hydrogen, calcining in inert gas and hydrogen atmosphere, (ii) maintaining calcination temperature and gas atmosphere, introducing carbon source gas into tube furnace, growing graphene on metal copper sheet, (iii) closing carbon source gas and hydrogen, quickly moving tube furnace, so that quartz tube region in which metal copper sheet is placed is exposed to room temperature, and then cooling to room temperature. USE - Preparation of circular graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation method is simple and achieves mass production. The prepared graphene has novel appearance, controllable growth, and excellent structural stability. The use of metal copper does not affect the structural properties of graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of circular graphene, involves (i) cleaning metal copper surface, placing into a tube furnace, heating in an inert gas atmosphere under normal pressure conditions, calcining at a temperature of 900-1040 degrees C, and then introducing hydrogen, calcining in inert gas and hydrogen atmosphere for 10-25 minutes, (ii) maintaining the calcination temperature and gas atmosphere, introducing carbon source gas into the tube furnace where the volume ratio of carbon source gas to hydrogen is 2:5-2:3, growing graphene on the metal copper sheet for 30 seconds-10 minutes, (iii) closing the carbon source gas and hydrogen, quickly moving the tube furnace, so that the quartz tube region in which the metal copper sheet is placed is exposed to room temperature, and then quickly cooling to room temperature in inert gas atmosphere.
