NOVELTY - A five-membered cyclic carbonate is prepared using chemical fixing carbon dioxide by converting propargyl alcohol using carbon nanotube or graphene as carrier grafted with N-heterocyclic carbene as catalyst in the presence of carbon dioxide and organic phase into sealed high pressure kettle at 20-100 degrees C for 4-28 hours at 0.1-5 MPa. The mass ratio of catalyst to propargyl alcohol is 60-100:45. The silver load quantity in catalyst is 5-12%. USE - Method for preparing five-membered cyclic carbonate using chemical fixing carbon dioxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is easy to realize, economical and environment-friendly, and has relatively mild reaction conditions, optimal conversion rate reaching 99.9%, selectivity reaching 100% and high atom using rate and catalytic efficiency.
