NOVELTY - Preparation of hydrophilic polyethylene terephthalate film involves mixing phenol, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane and polyethylene terephthalate granules to obtain polyethylene terephthalate casting solution, mixing polyethylene terephthalate casting solution and graphene oxide, drying mixture in vacuum oven, immersing obtained film in amine-modified nanosilica solution for 12 hours and then washing using deionized water. USE - Preparation of hydrophilic polyethylene terephthalate film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of hydrophilic polyethylene terephthalate film using graphene oxide having average particle size of 1.5 mu m.
