NOVELTY - Preparing boron-doped graphene quantum dot involves mixing proper sugar and boric acid followed by the addition of deionized water with stirring to obtain solution which is heated in hydrothermal reaction kettle to obtain a product which is dialyzed in dialysis bag to obtain dialyzed product which is boron-doped graphene quantum dot. USE - Method for preparing boron-doped graphene quantum dot (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of boron-doped graphene quantum dot in simple and cost effective manner. The product has good water solubility and uniform size.
