NOVELTY - Manufacturing graphene modified polypropylene plastics comprises (i) adding 107-120 pts. wt. graphene, 5-8 pts. wt. acryloxysilane and 400-600 pts. wt. liquid paraffin into the reactor for reaction, (ii) adding 17-28 pts. wt. semicarbazide, 400-600 pts. wt. dimethylformamide, heating and stirring for 50-120 minutes, adding 12-15 pts. wt. bismaleic imide, stirring for 60-100 minutes, filtering and drying to obtain the graphene containing maleic acid imide group, (iii) premixing 2-5 pts. wt. dimethyl silicone oil, 85-105 pts. wt. polypropylene particles, 2-5 pts. wt. maleic acid-based graphene, 2-5 pts. wt. cerium methacrylate, and 1-3 pts. wt. benzoyl peroxide in a high-speed mixer, and (iv) extruding through a twin-screw extruder, water-cooling, drying, and injecting to obtain modified polypropylene plastic. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing graphene modified polypropylene plastic. ADVANTAGE - The modified polypropylene plastic can effectively improve the surface resistivity and volume resistivity of polypropylene plastic, and has good antistatic ability, greatly improves the toughness of the polypropylene plastic, and both the tensile strength and the bending strength are improved.
