NOVELTY - Preparing zeolitic imidazole frameworks/ benzoquinone graphene oxide / sulfobetaine grafted - chitosan aerogel involves: 1) forming 1-chloro-3-dimethylaminopropane and 1, 3-propanesulfonic acid, forming zwitterions; 2) adding zwitterion to acetic acid solution of chitosan, lyophilizing to form sulfobetaine-grafted chitosan; 3) forming suspension by dispersing graphene oxide in phosphate buffered saline, dripping ethanol solution of benzoquinone, stirring, filtering product, collecting formed solid, treating, dispersing solid in water, dialyzing, freeze-drying to form benzoquinone modified graphene oxide; 4) forming dispersion of product, mixing aqueous 0.1M acetic acid solution with sulfobetaine grafted chitosan to form suspension, stirring to form sol-gel system, freezing under liquid nitrogen atmosphere, again freezing system at -17℃ overnight, vacuum freeze drying for 48 hours, adding cobalt nitrate hexahydrate, reacting, adding 2-methylimidazole, reacting system. USE - Method is used for preparing zeolitic imidazole frameworks/ benzoquinone graphene oxide / sulfobetaine grafted - chitosan aerogel used for efficient adsorption of pharmaceutical and personal care products(claimed). ADVANTAGE - The aerogel prepared has improved adsorption properties, antifouling and bacteriostatic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of zeolitic imidazole frameworks (ZIF-67)/ (QGO) benzoquinone graphene oxide / sulfobetaine grafted - chitosan (SB CS aerogel) by a double-ice template method, involves: 1) dropwise adding 10 ml 40% sodium hydroxide (NaOH) into 1-chloro-3-dimethylaminopropane hydrochloride solution obtained by dissolving 14-16 g 1-chloro-3-dimethylaminopropane hydrochloride in 10 ml water, keeping for 30 minutes, then using a separating funnel, forming 1-chloro-3-dimethylaminopropane which is reacted with 17-19 g 1, 3-propanesulfonic acid in 1, 2-dichloroethane, followed by washing product with 1, 2-dichloroethane and performing vacuum drying to form zwitterions; 2) dissolving 1mmol chitosan with 10 ml dry acetic acid, adding 1mmol zwitterion, then stirring the mixture in nitrogen atmosphere, at 50℃ for 48 hours, dialyzing the reaction product for 2 days, then lyophilizing to form sulfobetaine-grafted chitosan white powder in 40.27% yield; 3) preparing a suspension by dispersing graphene oxide in phosphate buffered saline, dripping ethanol solution of benzoquinone, stirring mixture at room temperature under argon atmosphere overnight, filtering with polytetrafluoroethylene membrane, collecting formed solid which is dispersed in water, subjected to sound wave treatment, then filtered on membrane again, washed with ethanol 3 times, followed by dispersing formed solid in water, dialyzing in water for 3 days and freeze-drying to form benzoquinone modified graphene oxide; 4) weighing and ultrasonically dispersing prepared product in distilled water, mixing aqueous 0.1M acetic acid solution with sulfobetaine grafted chitosan to form a stable suspension, stirring for 3 hours at 70℃ to form a sol-gel system which is freezed under liquid nitrogen atmosphere, again freezed at -17℃ overnight, followed by performing vacuum freeze drying for 48 hours, adding cobalt nitrate hexahydrate, reacting for 12 hours, adding 2-methylimidazole, reacting for 12 hours and vacuum drying the sol-gel system.
