NOVELTY - Preparing gallium nitride nanowires/graphene composite material comprises (i) providing a substrate; (ii) forming a layer of gold film on the positive and negative surfaces of the substrate to obtain the substrate coated with gold film; and (iii) using gallium acetylacetonate as precursor, using gas-liquid solid-chemical vapor deposition method to grow gallium nitride nanowire on the substrate covered with gold film, taking methane as precursor, and using chemical vapor deposition method to deposit a graphene film on the outer surface of the substrate and the gallium nitride nanowire to obtain the gallium nitride nanowire/graphene. USE - The method for preparing gallium nitride nanowire/graphene composite material is useful in a sterilizing device for sterilization and disinfection of flowing water body and air under the action of light and electricity (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method grows the film graphene the surface of the gallium nitride nanowire electrode in situ to improve the conductivity of the gallium nitride nanowire electrode. The graphene also has high tensile strength, can enhance the bonding force of the gallium nitride nanowire and the substrate to improve the impact capability of the water flow and air of the electrode. The composite material can be used as electrode and can realize effective sterilization and disinfection of flowing water body and air under the action of light and electricity.
