NOVELTY - Preparation of high quality graphene comprises dispersing crystalline flake graphite in concentrated sulfuric acid and ultrasonically stirring; adding with potassium permanganate, ultrasonically stirring, and reacting at 30-50 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours and 80-100 degrees C for 1-3 hours; adding deionized water, reacting at 80-100 degrees C, stirring for 15 minutes, adding hydrogen peroxide, and stirring; and centrifuging, ultrasonically dispersing precipitate in dilute hydrochloric acid, centrifuging, ultrasonically dispersing precipitate in hydroiodic acid, repeating process, and vacuum drying. USE - Method for preparing high quality graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method avoids long oxidation time problem and is quick and efficient.
