NOVELTY - Triphenylamine-based cobalt porphyrin catalyst (I) is new. USE - (I) is useful in preparing carbon material-supported triphenylamine-based cobalt porphyrin composite catalyst (claimed) for electrocatalytic oxygen reduction to produce hydrogen peroxide. ADVANTAGE - (I): can enhance the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) performance of the carbon material-supported triphenylamine-based cobalt porphyrin composite catalyst and improve the selectivity of hydrogen peroxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Triphenylamine-based cobalt porphyrin catalyst of formula (I) is new. R1-R3 = 0-4C alkyl group; and R4 = aromatic group or an aromatic olefin group. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparation of (I); and (2) preparing carbon material-supported triphenylamine-based cobalt porphyrin composite catalyst, comprising supporting (I) on a carbon material, where the loading amount of (I) is 5-30 wt.%, and the carbon material is carbon nanotubes, carbon black or graphene.
