NOVELTY - A graphene-coated silicon nanoparticles comprise reduced graphene oxide/carbon shell coated on the outer layer, silicon nanoparticle core coated on the reduced graphene oxide/carbon shell, and a cavity layer located between reduced graphene oxide/carbon shell and silicon nanoparticle core. USE - Graphene-coated silicon nanoparticles. ADVANTAGE - The silicon nanoparticles have high thickness, increase the electrical contact between particles and current collector, and improve the internal electron transfer of the composite material to reduce the impedance. The carbon produced by high-temperature pyrolysis of the carbon chain of the modifier together with the graphene forms a shell having high strength and improves the formation of a stable solid-electrolyte interphase.
