NOVELTY - System comprises a lightning arrester characteristic quantity sensor unit, a data collecting unit, a data analyzing and storing unit and a relay control unit. A characteristic quantity sensor unit of a lightning arrester uses an active leakage current sensor to measure a leakage current of the lightning arrester. A non-contact voltage detector measures a voltage characteristic quantity of the lightning arrester. An infrared thermal imager measures a temperature of a valve plate of the lightning arrester. A data collecting unit and a data analysis and storage unit are fixedly installed in a metal shell of a graphene electromagnetic shielding film. USE - Arrester electric insulating state evaluation system for electric locomotive and motor train unit. ADVANTAGE - The system calculates comprehensive safety coefficient of the motor train arrester to judge the working state of the lightning arresters, early warning the deterioration lightning arrester, and preventing the arrester from burning and cracking. The system allows the data collecting unit and the data analysis and storage unit to be fixedly installed in a metal shell, so that the metal shell is covered with graphene electromagnetic shielding film, thus shielding strong electromagnetic interference in a high voltage box of a motor train unit, and installing the shell in the high pressure box of the vehicle-mounted voltage transformer in an efficient manner.
