NOVELTY - The method comprises taking expanded graphite (1-3 pbw) in a high temperature furnace, introducing a protective gas into the high temperature furnace, then heating to 900-1000 degrees C for 1 minutes to 24 hours, cooling the furnace to a room temperature, mixing the expanded graphite with a solvent (20-50 pbw) and an acid solution to a mass volume ratio of 20-40 ml:0.1 g at 110-140 degrees C, refluxing the acid solution for 6-14 hours, collecting a precipitate having a pH value of 7, and washing the precipitate with de-ionized water (20-40 mL) or absolute ethyl alcohol. USE - The method is useful for preparing zinc oxide/graphene composite. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of economically preparing the zinc oxide/graphene composite with high quality. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The method comprises taking expanded graphite (1-3 pbw) in a high temperature furnace, introducing a protective gas into the high temperature furnace, then heating to 900-1000 degrees C for 1 minutes to 24 hours, cooling the furnace to a room temperature, mixing the expanded graphite with a solvent (20-50 pbw) and an acid solution to a mass volume ratio of 20-40 mL:0.1 g at 110-140 degrees C, refluxing the acid solution for 6-14 hours, collecting a precipitate having a pH value of 7, washing the precipitate with de-ionized water (20-40 mL) or absolute ethyl alcohol, then drying the precipitate in a vacuum at 40-100 degrees C for 1-48 hours, weighing a surfactant (0.01-0.1 pbw) and a zinc source (0.5-2 pbw), then mixing uniformly to obtain the mixed solution, placing the solution in a vacuum filtration apparatus under an atmospheric pressure of 0.05 Mpa, injecting the obtained mixed solution to vacuum at 100-220 degrees C for 1-24 hours to obtain a product, and putting the product to centrifuge wash for 5 times with the de-ionized water or the absolute ethyl alcohol to obtain a solid precipitate in the centrifuge, where the solid precipitate is kept under vacuum at 40-100 degrees C for 1-48 hours to obtain zinc oxide/graphene composite. A number of the expansion graphite is 100, 140, 200, 250, 300, 350, 500, 1000, 5000 or 8000. The high temperature furnace is a high temperature tubular furnace or muffle furnace.
