NOVELTY - Molecular level hydrophilic graphene quantum dot having structure (I) is new. USE - Molecular level hydrophilic graphene quantum dot for photodynamic (PDT) anti-tumor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The quantum dot ensures high ability to release a large amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in a short period of time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Molecular level hydrophilic graphene quantum dot having structure of formula (I) is new. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a method for preparing molecular level hydrophilic graphene quantum dot (I); and 2. use of molecular level hydrophilic graphene quantum dot for photodynamic (PDT) anti-tumor.
