▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The electrochemical cell (100) has a housing (102), an electrochemical element (104) that is arranged in an interior space (103) of the housing, a first cell terminal (110), a second cell terminal (112) and a short-circuiting device (116). The short-circuiting device is provided with a volume change element (118) that comprises or is formed from an intumescent material (115). A triggering temperature of the intumescent material, is in a range from 60 Armstrong degree C. to 120 Armstrong degree C. and that the intumescent material is electrically conductive in the triggered state. The intumescent material comprises a propellant material which comprises or is formed from expandable microcapsules. USE - Electrochemical cell. ADVANTAGE - The short-circuiting device is activated quickly and reliably when the electrochemical cell is in an improper state and in which the risk of unintentional activation, is low. An intumescent material suddenly increases in volume and decreases in density when heated to a trigger temperature. By interrupting the flow of current through the electrochemical cell, overcharging of the electrochemical cell, can be prevented. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows the longitudinal sectional view of an electrochemical cell of a module.
