▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Preparation of platinum-free metal oxide/graphene catalyst involves mixing metal salt and graphite oxide in solution to form metal salt-graphite oxide composite and irradiating the composite with solar light to spontaneously form the metal oxide/graphene catalyst. USE - Preparation of platinum-free metal oxide/graphene catalyst used for production of hydrogen (claimed) for use in fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The method provides platinum-free metal oxide/graphene catalyst having high catalytic activity and surface area, and excellent hydrogen evolution property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) production of hydrogen, which involves using molybdenum oxide/solar exfoliated graphene composite as catalyst in cathode used for generating hydrogen; and (2) process for increasing catalytic activity of molybdenum phosphide catalyst for providing generation of hydrogen, and ball milling molybdenum phosphide in a ball mill to reduce the particle size of the molybdenum phosphide. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view explaining the preparation of platinum-free metal oxide/graphene catalyst.
