NOVELTY - Graphene oxide aerogel enhanced proton exchange membrane comprises an ionic group containing polymer electrolyte and a graphene oxide gas gel. The ionic group-containing polymer electrolyte is group consisting of sulfonated polyether ether ketone, sulfonated polyether sulfone, sulfonated polybenzimidazole, sulfonated polyphenylene ether, and sulfonated polyimide. USE - The membrane is useful in fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The membrane has excellent durability, mechanical strength, proton conductivity, porosity, thermal stability and mechanical strength. The method utilizes the easily available raw material, has low swelling degree, keeps high ion exchange capacity, greatly improves the durability and service life of the polymer electrolyte, and has wider application prospect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene oxide aerogel enhanced proton exchange membrane.
