NOVELTY - A graphene composite metal oxide confinement carbon nano dot material comprises metal oxide nano-dots coated with carbon layer uniformly arranged on the graphene sheet, the diameter of the metal oxide nano-dots is less than 10 nm, the thickness of the carbon layer is 1-2 nm, and the specific surface area of the graphene composite metal oxide confinement carbon nano dot material is 100-300 m2 g-1. USE - Graphene composite metal oxide confinement carbon nano dot material used as lithium ion battery cathode active material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene composite metal oxide confinement carbon nano dot material ensuring enhanced electrochemical performance is prepared by simple and environmentally-friendly process.
