NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide-carbon fiber hybrid filament involves providing a dispersion comprising graphene oxide and carbon fiber, injecting the dispersion into a conduit and heating the injected dispersion under hydrothermal conditions to obtain the graphene oxide-carbon fiber hybrid filament. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide-carbon fiber hybrid filament used for electrode of electrochemical cell, energy storage devices, supercapacitor and micro-super capacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient preparation of graphene oxide-carbon fiber hybrid filament and provides electrode having excellent flexibility, durability, cycle life, and ultrahigh volumetric energy density, and thin-film lithium battery having high power density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for electrochemical cell, which comprises a positive electrode comprising graphene oxide-carbon fiber hybrid filament, a negative electrode comprising graphene oxide-carbon fiber hybrid filament and an electrolyte. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view explaining synthesis of all-carbon hybrid micro-fibers.
