▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - An electrorheological paste or gel containing carbon dispersed in polymer comprises graphene nanoflakes in size of 50-2500 nm dispersed in polyethylene glycol in which paste or gel has viscosity of 1 kPa under electrical field of near-zero to 250 kPas under electrical field of 5 kV/ mm at shear rates of greater than or equal to 0.001/s. USE - An electrorheological paste or gel containing carbon dispersed in polymer. ADVANTAGE - Gel or paste exhibits mega to gigantic electroviscous phenomena. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process of synthesizing electrorheological paste or gel containing graphene nanoflakes and polyethylene glycol (PEG 400) which involves mixing PEG 400 with deionized water, adding synthesized graphene nanoflakes to solvent polymer mixture and homogenizing to form raw colloids, heating homogenous raw colloids to 85-95 degrees C under reflux for 1-3 hours to yield intermediate gel, cooling and holding intermediate gel at reduced temperature for vaporizing water and cooling formed gel to room temperature.
