NOVELTY - A composite coating composition comprises a binder; a high aspect ratio sheet; and a low aspect ratio sheet. USE - A composite coating composition used for article e.g., plastic film, wire, cable, fiber or sheet of foam, board, paper, wood, or metal (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The surface of article having barrier from water and/or oxygen is created. The coating composition exhibits an increased heat resistance, corrosion resistance, as well as increased conductor or dielectric capabilities. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) process for coating an article which involves introducing the coating to the surface of the article; and (2) creating a barrier on surface of article from water and/or oxygen which involves coating the article with the coating. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows an explanatory view of the hypothesized improvement to the moisture barrier by incorporation of both graphene oxide and montmorillonite.
