NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene quantum dots involves mixing graphene oxide with hydrogen peroxide, and performing hydrothermal reaction for 65-80 minutes. The mass ratio of graphene oxide to effective hydrogen peroxide in the hydrogen peroxide is 3-10:1. USE - Preparation of graphene quantum dots for use in bioluminescence imaging (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene quantum dot having excellent fluorescence and luminescence properties, by simple process.
