NOVELTY - Graphite oxide is prepared from natural crystalline flake graphite by Hummers method. The obtained 0.5-5 %mass graphite oxide and 95-99.5 %mass benzoxazine prepolymer powder are blended and interlaced in high-speed planetary ball mill by in-situ intercalation powder polymerization method, at 400 rpm and 500 rpm for 3-5 hours and 1-2 hours, respectively. The mixed product is subjected to vacuum degassing at 80-100 degrees C for 1-2 hours and cured at 150-190 degrees C for 4-20 hours, to obtain graphene oxide-benzoxazine nano composite resin. USE - Manufacture of graphene oxide-benzoxazine nanocomposite resin used for copper clad plates, laminated plates and spacecrafts. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides graphene oxide-benzoxazine nano composite having excellent heat resistance, by simple process. Since graphite oxide is added, curing temperature of resin is reduced, and glass transition temperature and processability is improved. The graphene oxide-benzoxazine nano composite resin is environmentally-friendly.
