NOVELTY - The material has a transitional metal oxide nanoparticle whose diameter is 10-100 nm. Thickness of a graphene nanometer sheet is 1-20 layers. USE - Graphene/transitional metal oxide composite negative electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The metal oxide and the graphene nanometer sheet are connected together by a covalent bond to achieve better interface interaction effect. The material has better high-magnification performance and long-period cyclical stability when used as a lithium ion battery negative electrode material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a graphene/transitional metal oxide composite negative electrode material.
