NOVELTY - Polyethylene composite plastic comprises 40-50 pts. wt. high-density polyethylene, 5-8 pts. wt. phenolic resin powder, 2-4 pts. wt. zinc oxide whiskers, 3-5 pts. wt. glass fibers and 6-9 pts. wt. lubricant, where the phenolic resin powder is powder prepared by grinding phenolic resin after thermosetting. USE - The composite plastic is used for marine applications. ADVANTAGE - The composite plastic has excellent surface finish and abrasion resistance, and effectively reduces the damage of marine organisms. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing polyethylene composite plastic, involving (a) heating phenolic resin for curing, and grinding cured phenolic resin to obtain phenolic resin powder, (b) heating and melting high-density polyethylene and lubricant at 185-190 degrees C and uniformly mixing to obtain first mixture, (c) maintaining the ambient temperature of 185-190 degrees C, adding phenolic resin powder, ceramic micropowder and graphene to obtained first mixture and uniformly mixing to obtain second mixture, (d) adding zinc oxide whiskers and glass fibers to obtained second mixture, uniformly mixing at 190-195 degrees C, passing obtained mixture to screw extruder, extruding, cooling and granulating to obtain polyethylene composite plastic.
