NOVELTY - A polymer positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) material (100) comprises a polymer matrix (104) defining a PPTC component (102), and a graphene filler (106) component, arranged in the polymer matrix, where the graphene filler component comprises graphene particles aligned along a predetermined plane of the PPTC component. USE - Polymer positive temperature coefficient material used for resistance heater (claimed) for camera. ADVANTAGE - (I) has improved thermal conductivity and/or electrical conductivity, and improved mechanical properties. (I): exhibits improved thermal stability; and provides the substrate with improved mechanical strength, thermal stability and electrical properties. The substrate can be prepared in a simple and cost-effective manner with high yield and high productivity, and is easy to handle, and has high mechanical strength and high thermal stability, and can be manufactured in a cost effective manner. The substrates of the substrate have excellent thermal and mechanical properties, and are easy to form.
