NOVELTY - Preparing octadecylamine functionalized graphene oxide lubricating oil involves adding graphene oxide to an Erlenmeyer flask containing N-methylpyrrolidone solution under stirring and ultrasonically dispersing, and then adding 1-hydroxy-7-azobenzotriazole, 1-ethyl-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride and octadecylamine after heating and stirring to 90-100 degrees C for 24 hours. The formed precipitate is washed with hot absolute ethanol by centrifugation, dried in vacuum for 12 hours to get final black product octadecylamine functionalized graphene oxide. Octadecylamine functionalized graphene oxide is added to the non-polar finished lubricating oil to prepare a mixture. The formed mixture is transferred to an ultrasonic cleaner under heating ultrasonically, and then cooled the oil sample to obtain the modified lubricating oil. USE - Method for preparing octadecylamine functionalized graphene oxide lubricating oil for mine hoisting steel ropes. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the octadecylamine functionalized graphene oxide lubricating oil in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with high operability, stable dispersion, improved lubricating capability, effectively reduced abrasion of the surface of the steel wire rope at low speed or high load.
