NOVELTY - Preparing inorganic porous material comprises modifying the graphene oxide with humic acid, intercalating the modified graphene oxide into the montmorillonite layer to obtain inorganic porous material. USE - The inorganic porous material is useful for removing heavy metal. ADVANTAGE - The porous material exhibits excellent adsorption performance compared to other adsorbent materials and is economical and readily available. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for inorganic porous material prepared by the above method.
