NOVELTY - Production of separator involves depositing phosphorus on a carbon powder for providing a phosphorus-deposited carbon powder, and coating the surface(s) of a separator using the phosphorus-deposited carbon powder. USE - Production of separator used for lithium-sulfur battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient production of separator, providing lithium-sulfur battery with excellent durability, even under a high-energy density positive electrode conditions, high coulombic efficiency and discharge capacity, and suppressed occurrence of shuttle reaction of lithium polysulfide, by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for lithium-sulfur battery.
