▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Material composition comprises a graphene oxide-sulfur nanocomposite including graphene oxide and sulfur. The graphene oxide further contains functional groups. The sulfur is bonded to carbon atoms. USE - Material composition is used for electrode e.g. cathode for battery (all claimed) e.g. lithium-sulfur battery. ADVANTAGE - The rechargeable lithium/sulfur battery containing the material composition has reversible capacity of 950-1400 mAhg-1, and stable cycling of more than 50 deep cycles. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) electrode; (2) battery; and (3) preparation of graphene oxide-sulfur nanocomposite, which involves providing graphene oxide dispersion, adding a sodium polysulfide (Na2Sx, where x is not defined) solution to graphene oxide dispersion to form blended solution, titrating blended solution into formic acid solution to form a precipitate and heat treating for a predetermined time and temperature, such that precipitate in sealed vessel utilizes a flowing gas at specified gas flow rate.
