NOVELTY - Lithium iron phosphate battery comprises anode sheet, cathode sheet, separator, electrolyte and shell. The anode sheet includes an anode current collector, a conductive coating provided on at least one surface of the anode current collector, and an anode active coating provided on the side of the conductive coating away from the anode current collector. The cathode sheet includes a cathode current collector and a cathode active coating provided on at least one surface of the cathode current collector, the electrolyte includes a vinylene carbonate film-forming additive. The vinylene carbonate film-forming additive accounts for the W.% of the total mass of the electrolyte, and the CB value of the battery is C, where C=(cathode active coating surface density*cathode active material ratio*cathode active material gram capacity)/(anode active coating surface density*anode active material ratio*anode active material gram capacity). USE - Used as lithium iron phosphate battery. ADVANTAGE - The battery has long calendar life.
