NOVELTY - Member comprises heat dissipation sheath; self-cooling material loaded inside the heat dissipation sheath; and spacer provided on the surface of the tape for self-cooling is included in a concentric multi-layer structure. USE - The member is useful as bed in active magnetocaloric regenerator for self-cooling (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The member: has excellent self-cooling efficiency and highest magnetic entropy change; prevents loss of self-cooling material, corrosion due to heat exchange fluid, and pressure loss; is economical; ensures laminar flow by reducing resistance of heat exchange fluid; and adjusts cooling temperature in wide range.
