NOVELTY - The transparent heating device (200) has a graphene film (202), a first electrode (205), and a second electrode (206). The graphene film is fixed to a transparent substrate. The first electrode and the second electrode are connected to a first edge and to a second edge of the graphene film, respectively. The graphene film has a resistance gradient across the film surface from the first electrode to the second electrode. USE - Transparent heating device for windscreens or wing mirrors for motor vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The transparent heating device is made of graphene film that does not suffer from non-uniform thermal emissions across the film surface. The graphene film is formed of regions with different resistivity to avoid presence of a hot spot. The transparent heating device has thermal emissions with improved uniformity, while maintaining a relatively high transparency, by providing the graphene film with a resistance gradient across the surface. The transparent heating device is provided with integrated light-emitting elements, while maintaining relatively high transparency.
