NOVELTY - Method for preparing composite electrode involves (a) mixing graphene powder, binder solution and metal lithium powder to obtain a graphene-metal lithium powder mixed slurry, (b) coating the mixed slurry to obtain a pole piece and (c) heating the pole piece and activating to obtain the composite electrode. USE - The method is useful for preparing composite material used for lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method for preparing composite electrode controls loading amount of metallic lithium in the composite electrode, reduces the dispersion size and utilizes graphene as a three-dimensional conductive skeleton to disperse the current density, provides an active site for the deposition of metallic lithium, and inhibits the growth of surface dendrites. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a composite electrode which is produced by the above method; and (2) a lithium ion battery comprising the composite electrode.
