NOVELTY - Preparation of microbial composite material involves preparing graphene oxide suspension by placing high-purity flake graphite in reaction vessel, slowly adding mixed acid, adding potassium permanganate slowly, heating and stirring in water bath, pouring into ice water, pouring upper yellow liquid off, washing successively with dilute hydrochloric acid and deionized water, ultrasonically processing to obtain graphene oxide suspension, aerating remaining activated sludge from sewage plant, and consuming original organic matter, pouring off supernatant and adding medium that simulates sewage to original volume, adding graphene oxide suspension and remaining activated sludge suspension to fresh medium, carrying out anaerobic incubation to form hydrogel-like black mass, washing black block with ultrapure water and immersing in ultrapure water for dialysis, freezing, freeze-drying in nitrogen or inert gas atmosphere, heating, carbonizing and cooling to room temperature. USE - Preparation of microbial composite material used in preparing an electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation of composite material is simple, economical, environmentally-friendly, combines residual activated sludge and graphene oxide to prepare graphene/microbial composite material, and effectively utilizes waste sludge. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of microbial composite material involves preparing graphene oxide suspension by placing high-purity flake graphite in reaction vessel, slowly adding mixed acid, adding potassium permanganate slowly in 2-3 times, and then heating and stirring in water bath at 40-60 degrees C for 8-16 hours, cooling at room temperature, pouring into ice water and adding hydrogen peroxide solution dropwise, stirring until color of material changes from greenish brown to golden yellow, and leaving still for 10-12 hours, pouring upper yellow liquid off, washing successively with dilute hydrochloric acid and deionized water until pH of supernatant is 3-7, ultrasonically processing to obtain graphene oxide suspension having dispersion concentration of 3-9 g/L, where layer spacing and sheet size of graphene oxide in suspension are respectively 0.7-0.9 nm and 30-1200 nm, aerating remaining activated sludge from sewage plant for 1-2 days, and consuming original organic matter, and leaving to stand still for 30-40 minutes, pouring off supernatant and adding medium that simulates sewage to original volume, aerating for 1-2 days and repeating for 7-30 days until mixed liquor suspended solids of remaining activated sludge stabilizes at 2-7 g/L and at pH of 7-8, and color of remaining activated sludge changes from black to earthy yellow obtaining remaining activated sludge suspension, adding graphene oxide suspension and remaining activated sludge suspension to fresh medium, wherein the concentration of graphene oxide is 0.3-0.4 g/L, mixing and sealing, carrying out anaerobic incubation at 25-29 degrees C for 5-8 days to form hydrogel-like black mass, washing black block with ultrapure water and immersing in ultrapure water for dialysis, freezing for 20-25 hours, freeze-drying in nitrogen or inert gas atmosphere, heating to 600-800 degrees C, carbonizing and cooling to room temperature.
