NOVELTY - Preparing nitrogen-doped graphene material comprises taking graphite oxide and then adding molten ionic liquid according to a solid-liquid ratio of 1g:10-100 ml, adding nitrogen-doped agent to the mixture, treating the mixture in an oven having a power of 1000-2000 W for 10-300 minutes, placing the mixture in a centrifuge and then centrifuging at a speed rate of 1000-5000 revolutions per minute for 1-30 minutes, and pouring ionic liquid to the centrifuged mixture to obtain nitrogen-doped graphene material including nitrogen-doped graphene and ionic liquid. USE - The method is useful for preparing nitrogen-doped graphene material that is useful in an electrode of electrochemical capacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of preparing the nitrogen-doped graphene material with high dispersibility, thus improving the electrical conductivity and storage capacity of the electrochemical capacitor. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a nitrogen doped graphene material; (2) an electrode including nitrogen doped graphene material and ionic liquid; and (3) electrochemical capacitor including cathode, separator soaked in an ionic liquid, and anode doped with a nitrogen graphene electrode.
