NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene/copper composite powder involves mixing acidic solution containing copper ions and aqueous graphene solution to obtain a mixed solution, or mixing acidic solution containing copper ions and aqueous graphene oxide solution to obtain a mixed solution, electro-depositing the mixed solution, and collecting the graphene/copper composite powder during the electro-deposition process. USE - Method useful for preparing graphene/copper composite powder for preparing graphene/copper composite material for heat sink material, wire or heat dissipation device application (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method repairs oxygen-containing functional groups and defects in the graphene, and improves the conductivity of the prepared graphene/copper composite powder. The composite material has excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal conductivity and high-temperature stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a graphene/copper composite powder prepared by the above method; (2) a method for preparing a graphene/copper composite material, involving reducing the graphene/copper composite powder to obtain a reduced powder, and subjecting the reduced powder to a molding process to obtain a composite material; and (3) a graphene/copper composite material prepared by the above method.
