NOVELTY - Producing graphene coated with ultra-thin carbon film involves preparing organic material solution provided with nano-sized polymer urea gel; forming polymer urea gel layer on surface of graphene oxide by mixing and reacting graphene oxide in organic material solution; reducing graphene oxide to form graphene coated with polymer urea gel layer; forming mesopores in polymer urea gel layer by first providing heat treatment on graphene coated with polymer urea gel layer; and forming ultra-thin carbon film by carbonizing polymer urea gel layer by secondary heat treatment of graphene coated with polymer urea gel layer. USE - Method for producing graphene coated with ultra-thin carbon film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method for producing graphene coated with ultra-thin carbon film enables to reduce manufacturing cost without complicating synthesis process, provides excellent catalytic performance, is cheap, or has higher safety and current density, and produces catalyst for commercialization.
