NOVELTY - Method for modifying high-performance polyester fiber involves (i) pre-treating polyester fiber by putting the polyester fiber into a de-oiling agent solution, washing with water, drying, adding dried polyester fibers into a sodium hydroxide solution for alkali washing and drying after washing is completed, (ii) immersing pretreated polyester fibers in a graphene dispersion, cooling the polyester fibers and drying, (iii) adding the polyester fibers obtained in the step (ii) into a polyethylene glycol-grafted chitosan derivative solution, soaking, heating and stirring, washing with clean water and drying and (iv) adding the polyester fiber obtained in the step (iii) into a sericin solution, heating, washing and drying. USE - The method is useful for modifying high-performance polyester fiber used as a fabric raw material. ADVANTAGE - The method improves conductive performance, flexibility and sweat absorption ability of the polyester fiber, achieves hydrophilicity of the polyester fiber and provides the polyester fiber which is more comfortable and has antibacterial properties.
