NOVELTY - General-purpose shielding material comprises matrix resin, crosslinking agent, antioxidant, carbon black, doped graphene, and dispersant. The doped graphene is from nitrogen-doped graphene, boron-doped graphene and boron-nitrogen co-doped graphene, preferably boron-nitrogen co-doped graphene. USE - The general-purpose shielding material is useful for direct/alternating current high-voltage cables. Uses include but are not limited to wind energy, solar energy and tidal energy renewable energy applications. ADVANTAGE - The doping modified graphene can greatly improve the conductivity of the material, reduce the carbon black dosage, so as to increase the smoothness of the shielding layer. When used together with the insulating layer, it can obviously improve the insulation layer electric strength and obviously inhibit the accumulation of space charge, which greatly improves the service life of the cable, and is suitable for direct current and alternating current cable. The direct/alternating current universal shielding material prepared by the voltage stabilizer of the modified graphene can ensure excellent heat performance and mechanical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing general-purpose shielding material comprising adding carbon black, antioxidant, and optional doped graphene, dispersant, lubricant together in EBA, processing and mixing in a reciprocating single-screw extruder refining and granulating to obtain intermediate products, post-absorbing the intermediate product and cross-linking in a shaking tank to obtain finished pellets.
