NOVELTY - Preparation of composite material involves mixing 20-30 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 35-45 pts. wt. nickel chloride hexahydrate and 90-100 pts. wt. deionized water, ultrasonically treating for 2.5-3.5 hours, adding 5-15 pts. wt. hydrazine monohydrate, stirring for 50-60 minutes, cooling to room temperature, centrifuging to precipitate the solid product of nickel-graphene platelets, washing with distilled water 4-6 times, filtering, drying under vacuum at 65-75 degrees C for 47-49 hours to obtain nickel-graphene platelets, mixing 5-15 pts. wt. nickel-graphene platelets with 20-30 pts. wt. copper powder in 75-85 pts. wt. ethanol solution, ultrasonically treating for 1.5-2.5 hours, rotary-evaporating to remove the solvent, filtering, drying at 65-75 degrees C to obtain a powder mixture, and spark plasma sintering the powder mixture at 520-540 degrees C and 47-49 MPa for 7-9 minutes. USE - Preparation of composite material. ADVANTAGE - The process provides composite material which has excellent mechanical properties and tensile strength.
