NOVELTY - A graphite alkene powder is heated in a protective atmosphere, then passed into carbon dioxide gas and cooled at room temperature, to obtain activated graphene. USE - Preparation of activated graphene used for supercapacitors, fuel cells, nanoelectronic devices, high-frequency circuits and photonic sensors (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The activated graphene having large specific surface area is prepared without environmental pollution by a simple process.
