NOVELTY - An artificial cornea comprises a central optical portion and skirt. The central optical portion comprises a cylinder and an umbrella-shaped portion that are connected with each other. The diameter of the umbrella-shaped portion is greater than that of the cylinder. A skirt edge is sleeved outside the cylinder. The skirt edge is made of composite material, where the composite material comprises graphene oxide and niobium carbide. USE - Artificial cornea such as Boston artificial cornea, bone-tooth type artificial cornea, and Russian Moroz artificial cornea. ADVANTAGE - The artificial cornea has excellent hydrophilicity, biocompatibility, porosity and compatibility with receptor corneal tissue, and high strength toughness and corrosion resistance, is easy to be modified and functionalized, reduces the occurrence of artificial cornea related complications, improves the application safety, and reduces the blindness rate of the cornea disease.
