NOVELTY - Preparing graphene grease comprises e.g. (i) using natural massive graphite as carbon source, grinding into powder in a pulverizer, and screening out graphite powder with particle size below 5 mu m, (ii) using alkali metal hydroxide as an intercalating agent, mixing with the above graphite powder and dissolving in water to obtain suspension, (iii) subjecting the suspension obtained in the step (ii) to constant temperature heat treatment in a homogeneous reactor, (iv) performing ultrasonic treatment of the suspension and drying, (v) adding saturated expansion agent to the product obtained in the step (iv), using the tube furnace for thermal expansion at high temperature, and finally washing the product, centrifuging, filtering and drying graphene nanosheets, and (vi) dispersing the graphene nanosheets in absolute ethanol ultrasonically to obtain uniform graphene dispersion, adding the dispersion dropwise to hot grease under mechanical stirring, and cooling. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene grease. ADVANTAGE - The method reduces the friction and wear of the reciprocating motion of the ball plate. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene grease prepared by the above mentioned method.
