NOVELTY - Low-temperature lithium-sulfur battery anode material comprises sulfur as active substance, where the anode material of low-temperature lithium-sulfur battery is doped with 0.1-20 wt.% transition metal. USE - The anode material is useful in lithium-sulfur batteries, sodium-ion batteries or potassium-ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The superionic conductor can anchor dissolved discharge products, reduce side reactions in batteries, and increase service life of batteries. After matching the low-temperature lithium-sulfur battery electrolyte with high ionic conductivity and fast desolvation, the lithium-sulfur battery can have rapid charge and discharge capabilities in the temperature range of 60°C to 40°C, and exhibit high specific capacity and cycle stability. The preparation process is simple and repeatable. The raw materials used are rich in reserves, green and environmentally friendly. The prepared anode material has high specific capacity, good cycle and rate performance, and low cost, and is suitable for large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation method of the low-temperature lithium-sulfur battery anode material, comprising (i) weighing elemental sulfur, conductive agent and adhesive agent in a ratio of (70-95):(1-15):(1-15), (ii) mixing the elemental sulfur with transition metal, and grinding to obtain a first mixture, (iii) adding conductive agent to the first mixture, and continuously grinding to obtain second mixture, (iv) adding the adhesive agent to the second mixture, and continuously grinding to obtain third mixture, (v) adding dispersing solvent to the third mixture, and continuously grinding to obtain composite slurry, and (vi) coating the composite slurry on a current collector, and vacuum drying at 60°C.
