DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of graphite thin film, which involves forming carbon-containing metal film (3) containing metal (A) and carbon, heat-processing a portion of carbon-containing metal film to form graphite thin film, and providing electrodes between the carbon-containing metal films.
