NOVELTY - Amidoamine composition comprises: (i) an amidoamine with (a) at least one amide group or at least one imide group, and (b) at least one amino group; and (ii) at least one silane comprising at least one (c) an ammonium salt of an aminosilane (I), and (d) a mercaptosilane (II). USE - The composition is useful in electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The composition exhibits improved adhesion to metal surfaces. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Amidoamine composition comprises: (i) an amidoamine with (a) at least one amide group or at least one imide group, and (b) at least one amino group; and (ii) at least one silane at least one (c) an ammonium salt of an aminosilane of formula (R1-NH-R2-Si(R3)(R4)(R5)) (I), and (d) a mercaptosilane of formula (HS-R2'-Si(R3')(R4')(R5')) (II). R1=H, an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an aryl group, or a substituted aryl group; R2, R2'=aliphatic chain with at least one carbon atom; and R3-R5, R3'-R5'=hydrocarbon radical with 1-20C atoms, an alkoxy group with 1-20C atoms, or an aryloxy group with 6-20C atoms. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: adhesive composition comprising, (i) an amidoamine composition, and (ii) a curable polymeric composition; and preparing an amidoamine composition, comprising (i) providing an amidoamine with (a) at least one amide group and (b) at least one amino group, (ii) providing at least one silane comprising (c) an ammonium salt of an aminosilane (I), (d) a mercaptosilane (II), (iii) mixing the amidoamine and the silanes and forming the amidoamine composition.
