NOVELTY - Material comprises graphene oxide and melanin, which are bonded together by a chemical bond formed by the reduction reaction of the graphene oxide on the surface of the melanin. The mass ratio of the graphene oxide to the melanin is 1-10:1. USE - The material is useful for preparing a textile fiber, preferably at least one of polyester, nylon, Spandex (RTM: Synthetic fiber), acrylic, polylactic acid and cellulose fiber. ADVANTAGE - The material can be used to prepare textile fibers to obtain modified textile fibers with good textile performance and antibacterial, far-infrared, anti-ultraviolet and anti-oxidation functions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the material comprising (a) configuring the graphene oxide aqueous suspension, adding nano-scale melanin, performing physical grinding or high-pressure homogenization under the condition of the system pH of 8-13 to make the graphene oxide and melanin undergo a graft reaction and (b) heating the mixed solution after the grafting reaction causes the graphene oxide to undergo a reduction reaction on the surface of the melanin to obtain a material and spray drying to obtain a powder.
