NOVELTY - Graphene micro sheet is prepared by acidifying high temperature expandable graphite to obtain expanded graphite; blending expanded graphite with organic intercalation material to obtain expanded graphite/organic composite material; crushing composite material to obtain expanded graphite/organic fine powder; and contacting expanded graphite/organic fine powder with gas atmosphere and carrying out high temperature combustion to produce large amount of energy to release the expanded graphite to form graphene micro sheet of certain granularity. USE - Method of preparation of graphene micro sheet (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method can control size of graphene micro sheet, has low cost and high yield, and is suitable for large scale. The prepared graphene micro sheet has high specific surface area.
