▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Analyzing a substance (30) involves fabricating a structure (5) comprising the substance and at least one graphene layer (40); carrying out at least one measurement step with respect to the structure; and analyzing the result to receive at least one analytical result concerning the substance. Measurement preferably comprises generating electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet-visible and/or infrared range, directing it towards the covered substance and exciting the graphene layer to generate secondary fields which increase the amplitude of radiation inside the substance. USE - For analyzing a substance e.g. single molecule, single molecules, molecular self-assembled layers, polymeric molecule, polymeric molecules, substance which is thermally, chemically or/and mechanically instable, DNA, RNA, protein, synthetic polynucleotide, polypeptide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method allows analyzing substances with very accurate results. The graphene protects the molecules against interactions with ambient, i.e. oxygen or water vapor, thus protect them from oxidative damage. In addition, graphene allows using a broad range of tip-surface distance control mechanisms including contact mode scanning force microscopy, friction and shear force microscopy, as well as scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), the latter due to the high conductivity of grapheme. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The figure shows cross-sectional view of method for analyzing a substance.
