NOVELTY - Preparing flower-shaped silica-based composite photocatalytic antibacterial waterborne interior wall paint, comprises e.g. (i) preparing a precursor solution of silica-based composite photocatalytic particles by (ia) taking the silicon dioxide and dissolve the silicon source in ultrapure water, controlling the precipitation of the silamine complex by adding an aqueous ammonia solution, separating the precipitate by suction filtration, fully washing the precipitate with ultrapure water and absolute ethanol, and drying in a constant temperature drying oven to obtain silamine complex precipitation, and (ib) adding 6 mg/ml solution of photocatalytic nanoparticles attached to the silammine complex precipitate, preparing as 0.5-1.5 mol/l precursor with ammonia and ultrapure water in the solution, ultrasonically vibrating for 30 minutes to make it fully dispersed, and obtaining a silica-based composite photocatalytic particle precursor solution. USE - The method is useful for preparing flower-shaped silica-based composite photocatalytic antibacterial waterborne interior wall paint. ADVANTAGE - The method: improves the stability of the photocatalytic particles and dispersibility; uniformly disperses the attached photocatalytic nanoparticles and coats on the flower-shaped silica photocatalytic particles, with a larger specific surface area; provides more active sites; improves the antibacterial effect of the composite water-based interior wall paint; adsorbs silica which has an important influence on the photocatalytic activity; controls the growth of composite photocatalytic particles; obtains smaller particle size and high specific surface area; and improves the photocatalytic antibacterial effect.
